About Us

We are a research group working in the School of Biosciences at the University of Nottingham. Our lab combines experimental and theoretical approaches to study how cells and whole organisms use their genetic information. This type of research is referred to as epigenetics. Knowledge of epigenetic processes is directly relevant for our understanding of human and animal health.

We are located on the Sutton Bonington campus. The unique combination of scientific knowledge and technical skills in our Division of Animal Sciences and across campus provides a stimulating and productive environment for our research activities. On site we have leading expertise regarding dietary and environmental effects on organism development and health, physiology of mammalian reproduction, neurosciences and developmental biology.
